$90.00 + tax per night ~ up to two adults

$15.00 + tax additional charge per person

10% discount for 7 day stays

$20.00 pet fee per stay

For all holidays we require 2 night reservation

"Bear Bucks" - a five dollor reduction on your second stay & each visit after that until you reach $75.00.  At that time you will only pay $75.00 each time you come stay.  This is for two people only. 

Additional people will remain $15.00 each per night.

No charge for your horses or four wheelers ~ guest must provide corral or secure station and feed for horses. 

No Smoking inside the cabin.  Receptacles available on porch.

Bonus:  Let us know if you are celebrating a special day during your stay with us.  This could be a birthday, anniversary, engagement, honeymoon, valentines, 4th of July or a "just because" day.

Cabin Details


Located on 40 acres in  the Ozark National Forest.  The road leading into the cabin is a National Forest trail.  The trail will delight you on your 2 mile drive off of Scenic Hwy 7 to Rocking Chair Ridge.    Keep your camera ready because you never know what you might see driving through the forest.

Rocking Chair Ridge Cabins

Haw Creek Falls   Directions

Haw Creek Falls are part of a NFS campground. They are popular photographic subjects and a nice place to witness fall color. Close enough to be combined with a trip to Pedestal Rocks, both off Scenic 7 south.

Two different loop trails totalling around 4 miles. Easy trails with interesting rock formations popular with nature lovers and photographers. Kings Bluff falls in season. Picnic area with restrooms. Scenic 7 South to AR 16 east, about 6 miles on south side of road. Good famly day trip. Keep kids close.

Alum Cove

Short 1.1 mile hiking trail to natural bridge used by early settlers to cross seasonal creek. Vault toilets. Water in season. Picnic area with 7 tables accessible. User fees posted at self-service pay area. Operated by the Forest Service.

Glory Hole

This is a popular short hike of moderate difficulty. The Glory Hole is a waterfall through the top of a cave. It is a popular destination with hikers and most serious outdoor photographers.  Fairly remote, probably best not hiked alone.

Boxley Valley Elk Herd

Lost Valley Hiking Trail

NPS  The most popular hiking trail in the upper Buffalo River area. Barrier free stretch, suitable for families. Eden Falls, native american shelter, waterfall in cave, outstanding spring wildflowers.
