My Blue Heaven CabinOur 3 bedroom, 2 bath 2,000 sq. ft log cabin is situated on a 125 acre private wildlife refuge with almost a mile of frontage on the Little Buffalo River, the largest tributary of the nearby Buffalo National River. Located only 3 miles from Parthenon in beautiful Newton County, Arkansas, our cabin is secluded and private yet easily accessible and within easy driving distance of Jasper, Ponca, Harrison, Branson and Eureka Springs. Spectacular 180 degree views of virtually uninhabited Reynolds Mountain combine with the quiet solitude of the river to create a special place for that romantic getaway or family reunion. This unique home can accommodate up to 11 guests yet is cozy enough for a couple. In addition, our nearby guest house (rented only in conjunction with the main cabin) sleeps an additional 4 guests. My Blue Heaven is full of rustic charm but never at the expense of creature comforts including central heat and air conditioning, fully appointed modern kitchen, washer and dryer, telephone , satellite TV , DVD , and CD players , hot tub, and deck. For the kids (and young at heart) there is croquet, horseshoes, ping pong and fooseball and even a play house hidden among the trees. We provide an electric golf cart for those who wish to more leisurely explore our nearly 2 miles of mowed trails. The cabin has a wood stove with viewing window for winter nights and an outdoor firepit for evening camp fires |
Testimonials:. . . As a mother of 4 children (all under 8) it is virtually impossible to find a vacation that offers both entertainment and solitude. My Blue Heaven has it all! The children were able to roam freely (and safely) around the property seeking out wildlife and using their imaginations. At the same time , mom and dad were able to relax in the hot tub and enjoy the breathtaking views surrounding the home. . . Rebecca, Hot Springs, AR What a great place for a vacation!! My husband and I stayed for a week with our five children with ages ranging from 5 to 15 and there was something special for us all. The boys loved fishing and wading in the river. The girls loved the hammock and the deer, rabbits, birds and squirrels that came close to the cabin every day. We all loved the fire pit, the hot tub, and picking blueberries. A comfortable cabin with great amenities; we felt so at home. Brenda, Lafayette, LA more testimonials |
