Our cabins are nestled in the heart of the Boston Mountains on Scenic Byway 7. We join the Ozark National Forest and the Buffalo River is less than 2 miles away. If you hike, canoe, bird watch, or prefer to spend a lazy day in the porch swing, your stay with us will be one of your fondest vacation memories. We offer lodging at its finest with true southern hospitality.

Our cabins are beautifully decorated with antiques and personal items. The grounds are landscaped with many shrubs and flowers for your enjoyment, so children must respect this. Our cabins are privately owned and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Guests agree to indemnify owner of any damages to the premises (including furnishings and household items) which result from renter’s occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear. We will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to guests, or for loss of money or valuables of any kind.

Your cabin is completely furnished, including kitchen utensils and flatware. Linens, towels, bathroom tissue and soap are placed in your cabin prior to your arrival. Daily maid service is not offered for extended stays; fresh towels are available upon request.

Pets are not allowed.

Cabins are smoke free.

Sam's Throne

Named after preacher Sam Davis who shouted sermons from the peak. This very scenic area is popular with photographers and rock climbers. It is a climbing destination offering challenges for every level of climber. Noted for legendary fall color displays. NFS site.

Gene Rush WMA

20,000 acre AGFC Wildlife Management Area along the Buffalo National River. It has elk, bear, deer, and turkey. Bordered by the Ozark National Forest on the south. A popular hunting area. It offers only primitive camping. Elk conservation area, crossed by Ozark Hightlands Trail.
Rush Landing (Ghost Mining Town of Rush)   Directions

The abandoned mining town of Rush is a major tourist destination in the Lower Buffalo River area. It is complete with old abandoned buildings and a few hiking trails that explore the areas around the mines. Rush is also a good birding area and the river fishing is good for smallmouth bass.

Glory Hole

This is a popular short hike of moderate difficulty. The Glory Hole is a waterfall through the top of a cave. It is a popular destination with hikers and most serious outdoor photographers.  Fairly remote, probably best not hiked alone.

Lost Valley Hiking Trail
