Cozy Country CabinCozy Country Cabin features a queen bed and a love seat sleeper. There is a bathroom and a large shower. The cabin has a fully-furnished kitchenette, air conditioning, and heat. Outside there is a grill and fire pit with a picnic area. Our cabin is located just 5 minutes from historic Kingston. In the village there are unique antique shops, a library, groceries, a restaurant, and gas. We are located about 20 minutes from historic Boxley Valley, the Arkansas elk herd, and the village of Ponca. In Ponca there are floating outfitters for the Buffalo National River. Centerpoint Trailhead (5 miles north of Ponca on 43) GPS: 36.09222, -93.334693 (31 miles, 42 mins) This trailhead is popular with hikers and horsemen. It is one of two ways to famous Hemmed In Hollow, the dangerous Goat Trail, Sneeds Creek Trail, and Granny Henderson's cabin. Big elevation changes, not for out of shape hikers. 1,000 ft descent. For most, this is an all day hike requiring frequent rest stops. |
